Generally, the tube side material of the heat exchanger is tantalum, for anti-corrosive fluid, the shell side material is normally carbon steel or stainless steel, for no corrosive fluid. Some process need acid to acid heat transform, then we’ll use a glass lined or tantalum lined shell, the manufacturing technique is much more complicated.
